Meet Thailand's Six Three-Michelin-Key Hotels
The 2026 Michelin Key selection is out, and Thailand now has six properties at the top of the list.

Michelin has revealed its 2026 Key selection, and Thailand has outdone itself. The country now has an impressive 71 hotels with Michelin Keys, which are awarded from one to three. But six special properties have earned a coveted three Keys, the highest distinction in the awards.
Anyone who is familiar with Bangkok’s luxury hotel scene will be unsurprised to learn that Capella Bangkok joined the top echelon this year, joining Mandarin Oriental Bangkok and The Siam to give the Thai capital three Three-Key hotels.
Elsewhere in Thailand, Amanpuri on Phuket retained its place at the top, while Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai won three Keys for the north of the country, and Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Krabi, rounded out the list.

Unlike Michelin's stars, which rate restaurants’ cuisine, recently introduced Michelin Keys rate the full hotel experience, from the architecture and service, to the character of the property and its amenities. The recognition is quickly establishing some already well-known properties as the best in the world.
On the rung below, 22 hotels in Thailand picked up Two Keys this year, including Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, which was promoted from One Key, and Chiva-Som in Hua Hin. A further 43 properties were awarded One Key, rounding out the list of hotels spanning island resorts, city stalwarts and smaller boutique stays across the country.
