Luckily, the city's many luxury hotels have taken this to heart, and the results range from colonial courtyards to rooftop infinity edges 57 storeys above the street. Here are the ones worth dipping your toes into.
Marina Bay Sands
Where else would be at the top of our list? The infinity pool at Marina Bay Sands is, by most accounts, the most famous hotel pool in the world, and a quick Google search will soon tell you why. It sits on the Sands SkyPark, 57 storeys above the city, stretching 150 metres along the rooftop with the entire Singapore skyline laid out below.
Head up for a swim at sunset when the light hits the water and the buildings start to glow to secure million dollar views. But remember, access is strictly reserved for hotel guests (despite a few adventurous travellers’ attempts) which keeps the crowds somewhat manageable. Plus, the hotel is just as impressive as its famous swimming pool, so it’s worth booking a stay.
PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering
Arguably just as photogenic as Marina Bay Sands but somehow missed by many, PARKROYAL Pickering deserves your undivided, poolside attention. Designed by WOHA Architects, the hotel is built around 15,000 square metres of sky gardens that cascade up the building in dramatic tiers of tropical greenery.
The infinity pool sits on the fifth-floor wellness level, framed by the gardens on one side and the Chinatown skyline on the other, with a 300-metre garden walk running alongside it that makes the whole floor feel like a jungle park suspended above the street. The hotel was awarded a Michelin Key in 2025, not just for its pool but its restaurant, rooms and more.

Raffles Singapore
On an equally welcoming and calmer note is the classic pool at Raffles, where you won’t find any rooftop theatrics. The pool is tucked within the hotel's colonial courtyard, surrounded by the white-shuttered wings of the 1887 building, with palm trees overhead and the noise of the city a world away.
Singapore's most iconic hotel hasn’t changed drastically over the years and it doesn’t need to: the pool is the perfect, private sanctuary and the heritage rooms are equally timeless. After a morning exploring the Civic District or shopping in the city heat, settling into a lounger here will instantly melt the day away.
W Singapore Sentosa Cove
The WET pool at W Sentosa is one of the largest in Singapore at over 1,200 square metres, sprawling out along the marina waterfront with views across to the South China Sea. It's open around the clock, has a slide built into it, and the poolside cabanas come with buzzer service for drinks and food.
The hotel recently underwent a full renovation and the pool area has been reimagined as a day-to-night destination with DJ sessions on selected evenings. This is where Singaporeans come for a full-day pool session: arrive late morning, order from the cabana, and don't move until sunset. The energy is social, the music is good, and it’s well-suited to everyone.

Raffles Sentosa Singapore
For those who would rather not share, Raffles Sentosa takes a different, but no less luxury, approach. Singapore's first all-villa luxury resort opened in 2025 with 62 private villas spread across tropical gardens on Sentosa, and every single one has its own dreamy pool and terrace.
The villas are generously sized, while the greenery is dense enough that neighbouring guests feel distant, and the staff appear only when you want them to. It's a completely different experience to Raffles in the city, and for anyone looking to disappear for a few days without leaving Singapore, it's hard to beat.
